Steps to reproduce:

Having the True Key extension on Firefox Nightly/Quantum. Typing any text or clicking repeatedly on different things, for example cells in a spreadsheet.


Actual results:

Clicks and keystrokes seem to be only registered in short bursts. Firefox seems to freeze for a bit. 


Expected results:

Every keystroke and click should be registered immediately.

I can and did reproduce the issue. I made a short video about it.

If you can't tell from the video, which is highly likely, keystrokes are sometimes delayed and causes a noticeable inconsistency when typing.

I did take a performance profile but I accidentally cancelled instead of saving it.
