Details

Mac OSX 10.1.4 Forms do not get automatically filled out. I manually entered all my information in the preferences windows but the form manager appears to be completely disfunctional. Form fields on all webpages I have tried require manual data input. This is enough of a reason for me not to use Mozilla, as it is a great timesaver. I'd rather not continue to use IE, but will have to if this feature isn't activated.
OK, found out the feature works, but differently than I am used to. The feature requires the user to choose the "edit-fill in form" command. Not as useful as automatic text in a field. When I have to enter my e-mail ID I would rather have it appear as I type the first couple of letters instead of having to go to the edit menu. I like having BOTH methods of form fill-in. Large forms make the current Mozilla method superior, but small forms like ID & password only forms make the Internet Explorer auto text method superior. Can you implement BOTH methods? Also, a KEYBOARD SHORTCUT for this function in addition to the above suggestion would make Mozilla clearly superior to IE in this crucial feature.
You can auto-fill the single field by double-clicking on it.
