May I suggest adding another entry in the Mouse Wheel Behaviour where scrolling up and down would move between browser tabs left or right? This would make for some savvy browsing and shouldn't be difficult to implement. I could try and do it if someone would point out the relevant files (don't want to study the whole Mozilla structure just to change this)
Do you mean only when the pointer is over the tab bar?

I mean while mouse pointer is over the web page. One can set ctrl-scrollup or ctrl-scrolldown to move one tab left or right. It makes for faster browsing. The same way forward and backward in history makes for a better browsing experience.
