User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
1. Using Thunderbird, send an email to yourself with a vcard attached.
2. Using Gmail, try to add the received vcard to your contact.
Actual results:
Gmail complains that the format isn't supported. This is important because it renders vcards in Thunderbird mostly useless, as there's no warrant that they will work in most email clients these days.
Vcards created in Google Contacts do actually work in Gmail, but not in Thunderbird. No matter what format you use to export from the three available.
Expected results:
Vcards to work transparently between Thunderbird and Gmail.

This sounds like bug 782147. (Unfortunately that bug doesn't get listed in the list of potential duplicates when using the bug entry form)

In bug 29106 I would raise importance. It's no longer about having support for a new standard, but for vcards to work.
