Don't dispalys text shows something non readable when selecting text and afects
drop-down list at address bar - urls replaced with something non readable

Expected Results:  Display page correctly

On linux 2002051909 1.0.0 branch, the site seems to load correctly, but as soon
as the images are loaded, things get strangely scrambled: The images don't
display correctly and part of the page content vanish. Scrolling hides and
rereveals different parts of the content.

No crash seen. Reporter, do you crash on the given page?

Confirming and reassigning to layout.

I want to confirm this bug (Moz 1.0 RC2).
There are similar errors on a page about rc2 on mozillaquest (I don't no the
exact address, cause I just read mq for fun -- the guy is a real troll!)

Maybe it has something to do with the display (graphics output, hardware,
rendering ...), because when I scroll down the page there are also some parts
where content is missing and selections look weird. But when I scroll up and
down again those areas might change (go away and new ones come).

I think we should change the topic of this bug to something like "displayed and
selected text/images not rendered correctly", because Mozilla does not crash
(misleading) and images are also affected.

required elements are:
1. animated gif with different sized frames (animated gif from bug 94336 also
causes this bug)
2. long page
3. overflow:auto for <pre> tags.  I tried applying overflow:auto to <p>
instead, but the bug didn't seem to bite.

GFX Compositor? Image?	probably not Layout.
