The GPO option "Disable Pocket" (using "extensions.pocket.enabled") already gets rid of the Pocket section on the "new tab" page. It would be really nice if the other sections were also configurable through GPO. I'm currently looking at the following options: - browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.section.highlights - browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.snippets - browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.showTopSites

After much though, I've just decided to go bare bones to start. Simple boolean to turn new tab page on/off

If we add a location, we'll use the Chrome policy NewTabPageLocation.

As far as configuring the sections (original purpose of this bug), I will do a new policy for that once things have settled down with the new tab page.

It will be for Firefox 68.

I'll open a new bug that depends on this one.
