1457866 - [macOS 10.13] [ESR builds] On some sites the scrollbar doesn't appear.

[Affected versions]:
- ESR 52.7.4
- ESR 52.5.5
- ESR 52.0
- ESR 45.9.0

[Affected platforms]:
- macOS 10.13

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Go to this link: https://imgur.com/
2. Observe scrollbar.

[Expected result]:
- You can see the scrollbar moving as you navigate throught the page.

[Actual result]:
- There isn't a scrollbar. 

[Regression range]:
- I don't think this is a regression considering the fact that I can reproduce the bug on an ESR 45.9.0 build. 

[Additional notes]:
- Only the ESR builds are affected by this issue and as far as I can tell only macOS 10.13 is affected.

The scrollbar doesn't move around by itself :)

Can you say what you did to move the scrollbar, e.g. trackpad scrolling, click-and-drag, etc.?

There isn't a scrollbar, but if you click on the trackpad the page scrolls up and down. You can click and drag if you know where the scrollbar should be, but that is harder to manage because you can't see it.

On another note. I wanted to verify if the bug was still reproducing on esr 60.0 - build 6 and I couldn't reproduce the issue anymore. Or at least on the two sites from comment 0.

This was fixed in bug 1408701 and not uplifted to 52.

Why is this marked as resolved? This is not fixed. It may be a duplicate of bug 1408701, but that bug was only fixed in firefox 58. The problem still occurs in ESR 52.9.0.

A bug is marked resolved/fixed when it is fixed in Nightly, and there are additional status flags that indicate which releases the fix has been uplifted to. At any rate, ESR 52 is not getting anything other than security fixes, if that, so this bug is as fixed as it's ever going to be.
