Remember when creating this product that it needs to have the same tracking and status flags as Firefox for Android.
At the same time, please could we add GeckoView to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/describecomponents.cgi https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi to help people raising bugs. See also bug 1469604 -> bug 1419971 which does the same for devtools.
Do you have an icon/logo of GeckoView?

As an update: this process is being documented to allow for automation and/or other non-bmo-expert to do it. As part of this very thorough process I realized this will need a code change, so I'm going to file that now. Probably this can go live by Wednesday.

There's been unrelated database/infrastructure issues that has prevented me from pushing out the code that recognizes GeckoView as having custom fields. I can either: 1) wait until that code goes out 2) Make the change now, but custom fields (fx points, iteration, some others) won't be usable on the bugs until after the code push
