when you have a tooltip (or titletip?) and a context menu, it messes up the
context menu position and makes it stay around

I've seen this in aim.  not sure if the right solution is to have the context
menu close the tooltip / title tip before opening, because I don't think we want
both up anyways.

here's how to reproduce this:

have a buddy list with two buddies:

a
b

select b.
rightclick to get context menu
mouse up to get tooltip / title tip for a
once it appears, mouse down to go back to the context menu.

the context menu will fly to the other side of the screen.

do we ever want to allow title tips / tooltips when a context menu is up?

saw this during jglick's UE study, so adding [ue] to status whiteboard.

sounds like bug 105698 which was just resolved as WFM

However.. It's impossible to follow the steps to reproduce in Mozilla since it
has no AIM/buddylist..

Does this still happen?  From the description, this should have been fixed by
the check-in for bug 143607, which moved tooltips into their own popupset.

Please close.  I cannot reproduce with Firefox Beta 2 or Seamonkey.

I see no issues with context menus are tooltips.

This is still around, I encounter it a lot with bookmarks tooltips.

I cannot reproduce this with bookmark tooltips in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1. The context menu and the tooltip seem to coexist nicely.
