A process is not finising at shutdown, it waits a minute or two and then the crash happens. Probably the password prompt issue like bug 1257058. Possiblities include oauth or master password.

The other possibility is gpg (enigmail related) as in bug 1410286. But your crash reports show enigmail is not installed
results with Version 60 would be interesting.

What would I need to do to get you these results?
Flags: needinfo?(worcester12345)
1. Do you have a master password specified in Thunderbird?
2. Read the version 60 description at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-thunderbird-60 then if you are OK to try it, download from https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/

No master password. I AM using version 60.

How is it with version 60.2.1?

So far, so good. I only updated yesterday, though. Time will tell.

Thanks for the feedback. If you do crash please post the crash ID in a bug report.

This signature only happens in version 52, and given that you don't crash in 60.2.1 we might assume this was related to bug 1176399 which was fixed in 60.2.1.

The remaining bug of this ilk (but not master password related) should still be reproducible in version 60 per Bug 1257058 comment 0
