Selecting option to 'Allow Windows to Search Messages' degrades performance to the point where Thunderbird is no longer usable. After selection and restart, Thunderbird hangs up every few seconds. Hang lasts for several seconds and 'not responding' appears in title bar.
Have you used this feature previously and it worked OK? Disable your AV and malware software. Does problem go away?

Have you used this feature previously and it worked OK? I don't recall. I think I may have used the option in the past Disable your AV and malware software. Does problem go away? Initial testing indicates that problem goes away when I disable AV (NOD32)
