Does this happen regardless of what folder you are dragging to, or are you dragging to the Personal Toolbar or something?
Reporter responded to me privately: If I drop onto the Home icon on the Personal Toolbar, I get a message asking if I want to change my home page (I haven't tried answering yes) Next on the Toolbar is Bookmarks, droping there nothing happens. Next I have some folders, if I drop on one of those the URL is added to the end of the list in the folder (without giving me a chance to choose where on the list to put it) I have several URLs on the Toolbar. If the drag and drop shows a vertical line between URLs the item is not added at the verticle line, but one item to the right of where the line is. Stuart Stuart, if you want to post follow-up messages to this bug, please go to http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146732 and use the "Additional Comments:"-field.
> If I drop onto the Home icon on the Personal Toolbar, I get a message > asking if I want to change my home page (I haven't tried answering yes) Yes, that's a feature. > Next on the Toolbar is Bookmarks, droping there nothing happens. That should work of course, but I am pretty sure there is a bug filed on that already. I just can't find it right now. > Next I have some folders, if I drop on one of those the URL is added to > the end of the list in the folder (without giving me a chance to choose > where on the list to put it) If you want to choose where to place the bookmark in the folder, keep holding the bookmark over the folder with the left mouse button pressed, and the menu will open allowing you do place it anywhere inside it. > I have several URLs on the Toolbar. If the drag and drop shows a > vertical line between URLs the item is not added at the verticle line, > but one item to the right of where the line is. That's also a bug, but I would be surprised if it isn't reported yet. Always only report one bug per bugreport.
>> Next I have some folders, if I drop on one of those the URL is added to >> the end of the list in the folder (without giving me a chance to choose >> where on the list to put it) > >If you want to choose where to place the bookmark in the folder, keep holding >the bookmark over the folder with the left mouse button pressed, and the menu >will open allowing you do place it anywhere inside it. Just as the Bookmark item does not open up, the folders do not open up (BTW I installed from 5 of the redhat RPMs)
