User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build ID: 20180605171542 Steps to reproduce: Some time ago a bigger Windows 10 Home N update occurred. After that it's always necessary to reinstall Media Feature Pack. I installed latest version (Version 1803 – April 2018, URL: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/mediafeaturepack). Actual results: Firefox displays warning about Microsoft Media Feature Pack with link to support page (https://support.mozilla.org/pl/kb/problemy-z-odtwarzaniem-dzwieku-i-wideo-windows?as=u&utm_source=inproduct). Expected results: Firefox should've recognized that MFP is already installed and play the medium.

Downgrading something is not really a solution, it's Firefox that should be updated as it seems FF is not compatible with the latest version of MFP.

Does the Decoder Doctor need to get updated to recognize the new Media Feature Pack, or what else could explain this?

It is possible that Windows broke something few weeks ago with that update. But there was another system update and now media in Firefox started working again. Cannot reproduce now. :/

The Decoder Doctor displays that message if we've been unable to load the WMF framework. It has no concept of version numbers.
