Computer is hanging totally when using scroll bars on this site. I first
discovered the problem on this site, because I was scrolling down/up a lot on
this site the few new software. I click on the scoll bar and I hold the mouse
button for a longer time (10-20s) and I scrolled up/down during viewing the
page. The whole compter is crashing/hanging (not responding anymore, mouse
cursur switch to busy) when doing this. Only a complete reset is rescuing the
computer. The problem is also existing with the latest Nescape 7 build. I use a
Logitech wheelmouse, but I don't think the problem is related to this.

Anyway the browser is nice and some pages I had problems with are working fine
now :-) The latest version of IE has still problems with this sites.
This bug is also happening on every other site. I only discovered the bug first
on www.versiontracker.com because I srolled there a lot.
Problem is also existing with release version 1.0
I have this problems, but it's not mozilla. Every application which has
scrollbars crashes my Xserver version 4.x. I have posted it as a bug on
xfree86.org a month ago. I got no reaction back yet. My problem is even worse. I
am afraid to scroll anything AT ALL. MTBF is about 20 minutes, so I don't use
Linux anymore.

Resolution:
Install the Xserver 3.x again, it's far more stable.
Oh, sorry, it's related to Macs. These bugs look all the same. :)
WorksForMe using Mac/2002072203. Frank, does Mozilla ever generate TalkBack reports after
these crashes? Is this problem still reproducible using a current build?

Reassigning to XP Toolkit/Widgets.

At the moment it seems that behavior of 1.1B is improved. The browswer still
crashes sometimes, but very seldom. The problem with using scrollbars was
existing until version 1.1a, but now this is ok. Also the problem with the
mousecursor when using the wheel and the pointer is on a link is gone. Also some
other display problems (showing html commands in Frames) are gone withe the new
build and general stabilty is OK. Maybe this is because I updated Logitec
mouseware to version 4.05.

Mozilla is a great product. Thanks.
Possible dup of bug 123196? See also bug 146079.
Resolving WFM per reporter. Frank, if you start experiencing this problem again, please feel free to
