Details
STR: Create 2 profiles Set one to open without asking Launch the other profile (via -P profile) Open about:profiles Click 'Restart normally' Expected: Restarts browser with currently open profile Actual: Restarts browser with profile set to open without asking Doesn't accomplish whatever was the purpose of restarting the browser. Particularly annoying if the other profile is dedicated to another Fx channel in which case it can corrupt the profile. (Fortunately I had a backup.) Since the end of support for XUl add-ons, about:profiles or Browser Console -> Ctrl+Alt+R have been recommended as an alternative method of restarting the browser. Note that Ctrl+Alt+R *does* restart with currently open profile.
