The bugs are getting to the piped .pl file but there is an error in that script 
that is preventing it from processing the bug.  this is what the mail log file

I changed the protection on the importxml.pl file and the results changed but 
still getting an error.

Kevin:

  Try the patch from bug 164464. 

  If that doesn't work, change your originating bugzilla to use an email address
that you can grab and save the message moving the bug to a file.

  Then, from the bash prompt, you can
  cat the_filename | ./importxml.pl
     and you'll see a beter error message.
