This isn't necessarily related to the Download Manager, but it at least has to
do with downloading...

If you click on a link to, for instance, a .pdf file, a dialog titled
"Downloading foo.pdf" pops up offering to either "Open using X" or "Save this
file to disk". If you choose the "Save this..." radio button and click "OK", a
file-save dialog pops up. This dialog is not modal with respect to the
"Downloading foo.pdf" dialog, so you can still click on it (the "Downloading..."
dialog) without touching the file-save dialog. If you click "OK" a second time
(without touching the file-save dialog) *another* file-save dialog pops up. If
you then "Cancel" the second file-save dialog, the first file-save dialog
remains. If you then hit "OK" to save the file, the file is not saved.

Also, I'm willing to bet that all sorts of other wonky situations can occur
similar to this. For example, you can probably hit "OK" more than just twice,
and open up an arbitrary number of file dialogs...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find a link to e.g. a .pdf file (this should work for any file that's a
registered MIME type)
2. Click on the link (this needs to pop up the window offering to either "Open
using ..." or "Save this file to disk")
3. Select the "Save this file..." option and hit "OK"
4. Do not touch the file-save dialog
5. Go to the "Downloading foo.pdf" dialog again and hit "OK" again
6. Hit the "Cancel" button on the *second* file-save dialog that popped up
7. Hit "OK" on the first file-save dialog

Actual Results: File was not saved to disk

Expected Results: Either save the file or not allow the "OK" button to be
pressed multiple times
I am observing this behavior too on Build 2002052809 on Win XP Pro...you have to
select the Downloading window from the taskbar as it is hidden from view when
you hit OK the first time.
Looks like a duplicate of Bug 58777
Yes, it is. Good catch.
