User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.84 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: I updated Thunderbird from 52 to 60 and now I get the following message for both my accounts: Login to server imap.gmail.com with username xxx@gmail.com failed. Needless to say the passwords are correct, and the accounts keep working if I downgrade to 52. I use the "Normal password" authentication method (NOT OAuth2). This affects both IMAP and SMTP. I also have a Yandex IMAP/SMTP account which works fine.
My apologies. Works again after generating new app passwords for both my accounts. I assume Gmail was suspicious of the change in the user agent.
