Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.106 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: [Windows, Thunderbird 52.9.1 (32-bit)] Use the "reply" button to create a new email. (May happen with "Write" also). Write an email - several lines at least. Select the new text (not the old message) and use the format pulldown to change from "Paragraph" to "Body". Add blank lines to separate paragraphs. Position the cursor in a line near the bottom of the message, using the mouse. Adding text at that point can result in the text appearing at the start of the blank line above the cursor position. Saving as a draft and re-opening the draft functions as a work-around. It is a somewhat random bug and not 100% repeatable. Actual results: Text is inserted on a different line to the cursor. Expected results: Text should be inserted at the cursor position.
Known problem.
