The controller should fill out the QueryContext with more values obtained mainly from preferences.

The list is currently TBD, some of this should wait until the preferences module is complete - bug 1477948.

I'm not sure we actually need this bug, we are adding preferences when we see the need to do it, and some of that is actually happening in the input module. I'd probably close this for now.
