Details

It should be possible to remove URLs from the list of candidates for auto-completion. Motivation: I am forever managing to mistype bugzilla.mozilla.org as bugzilla.mozilla.og. Having done this once, Mozilla faithfully remembers it and offers it to me as the first auto-complete candidate when I start to type bugzi.... Most of the time, I fail to notice that this is the mispelt version (the right one comes straight after), and so press enter and get treated to an error dialogue. If I could just remove the erroneous candidate from the list, I would be a very happy man. Having to clear my entire auto-complete history is a pain! I'd envisage the interface as follows: - Type in enough of url until unwanted candidate appears in auto-complete list. - Right-click over unwanted URL. - Select "Forget URL" (or whatever) from context-menu. I notice that right-clicking on an URL in the auto-complete dropdown currently has the same effect as a left click (i.e. it takes you to that URL). This shouldn't happen (IMO). I'll file this as a separate bug (assuming it's not already in) and mark this one as dependent on it.
