Steps to reproduce:

After update to b63 font used in folder pane changed. Fonts rendered larger (appreciated!) but use a lighter weight font than system UI. Folders with unread messages no longer show as bold. This combination makes the folder pane difficult to read. (I can't imagine how bad it must be for visually impaired or older users!!)


Actual results:

UI font for folder pane changed in unexpected way. No way for end user to adjust this font via Preferences.


Expected results:

Need preference interface for user to select folder pane font, OR default to using same font style/size/weight as in system menus.

This is not a "font too small" issue - it's a "font weight too light" and "unread messages are not bold" issue. The font is actually slightly larger than that used in b60.

With next beta the bold and blue colour when new messages arrived are fixed.
