We need an easy way to display personalization v2 data running on a profile either via a debugger built into activity stream (ideal) or maybe an addon?
Things we're thinking it would be good to display/enable.
1. The current list of recommendations and spocs and the score. (this got done in https://github.com/mozilla/activity-stream/pull/4628/files)
2. Data about each recommendation or spoc, title, desc, etc? (this got done in https://github.com/mozilla/activity-stream/pull/4628/files)
3. Be able to clear remote settings data, cache, refetch it. (this got done in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1608520)
4. Change between various dev, prod, and staging of remote settings.
5. Consider this has to work with attachments most likely, but probably won't be an issue.
6. Bonus idea, be able to make small changes and edits to either the interest profile data, initial recommendations or spocs, or history and see the resulting scores.

WRT to 6, the ask would be to locally override the recipe. Ideally, by pasting in a JSON blob and overwriting the fetched value.
We're looking for something fast to develop and ship. (Where "ship" could mean "download this experimental extension and install it locally.)
