Steps to reproduce:
When MRC Compose tries to expand the To, CC, BCC fields to additional lines, it shows an empty, small field instead for Thunderbird 60.
Expected results:
Actually, Thunderbird should do exactly what MRC Compose does and have a single To field that can expand as needed, instead of creating additional fields.

What's the bug? "MRC Compose" not working? That you need to report to its author.
TB should behave like "MRC Compose", that's bug 440377. Going by "expected results", you've just filed a duplicate.
