Steps to reproduce:

Switch from vertical layout to either wide or classic layout.


Actual results:

The threadpane splitter is not loaded, it stays in "vertical mode".
It is not useable and the cursor stays ew-resize.


Expected results:

It should load and become useable with ns-resize cursor.

The workaround at this moment is to hit F8 twice, show/hide messagepane.

Debugging could be a bit tricky, since it loads immediately when inspecting the splitter with the devtools inspector.

I don't see this with windows 64.0b1. Perhaps linux only?

I can confirm the E-W-cursor for windows with TB 60.2.1 and trunk TB.
But the functionality of the cursor is preserved here.

Yes, confirmed, after switching from "vertical" to "classic" the cursor stays horizontal (east-west), but the functionality is maintained. So this is purely cosmetic. It was working in TB 52 though. Maybe Richard can take a look.

It looks like it's fixed, I can't reproduce it anymore.
Tested on Linux and Windows with versions 78.12 and 91.04b

Thanks. We use WORKSFORME when there is no patch in the bug report.
