User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0 Steps to reproduce: Connect to my computer using Remote Desktop Actual results: Going back to My computer, Thunderbird hangs partially then totally. (To, CC, BCC fields inactive). I Have to Kill it
"My computer" is already a remote session on a W2008 RDSH server, accessed through a Wyse ThinOS client). I've been unable to reproduce myself but two of my users who are roaming frequently are reporting the same problem since the upgrade to TB 60.
Do you still see this if you start Thunderbird in safe mode? thunderbird.exe -safe-mode https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Command_Line_Options#-safe-mode

Hi, Yes the problem occurs also in Safe Mode. (Some other users are reporting Firefox hanging when roaming).

Do you have anything newer than 2008 RDSH to test against?

Summary: Thunderbird hangs after Remote Desktop → Thunderbird hangs in Remote Desktop on Windows 2008 RDSH (remote desktop session host)

I have the same problem on Windows 7 and Windows 10 Remote Desktop with Thunderbird 60.4.0.
See also: "Menus do not work when connected via Remote Desktop" (bug 1419111)

I use remote desktop extensively to multiple systems (but not to servers) and never have trouble.

Is this problem still seen when using current versions of Thunderbird (78 or newer) and current versions of server (2012 at least)?

We're now on W2019 RDSH and this did not occur recently, even during the brief usage of TB 78 (see bug 1668811)
We're now back on TB 60, because of high CPU load/bug that apparently increased regularly with the version numbering.
