Details

The first phase of the revised idea of checks [1]. Current implementation: single github webhook handler that creates tasks and posts initial status on github. Proposed implementation: two handlers - github webhook handler creates tasks; pulse message handler (the message would notify us about the creation of the task) posts initial status to github.
