Steps to reproduce:
I enabled the built in Dark theme. I can change the text and background for messages manually but not anything else
Actual results:
The background is white. I everything should be dark.
Expected results:
The background for the message list and folders should be dark.

Yes, that's a feature the will come in the next major version. It's been implemented in TB 65 in bug 1504187. You can try it in a Daily build or TB 65 beta from about mid-December.

On TB 60 you could use https://addons.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/addon/tt-deepdark . Unfortunately full themes will stop working after TB 60.
