Steps to reproduce:
Tool -> Option -> Notification of receipt new mails with customized WAV file with a large file size (3Mb).
Actual results:
Thunderbird60 crashes immediately.
Expected results:
To play the sound file (WAV file).
In previous version of Thunderbird, thid did not happen with the same WAV file (3Mb). It would be dsirable to notify limit of the filesize and avoid the crash.

Thunderbird60 should be improved to avoid such a crash event.

Indeed. Until this is solved you may want to use the default sound file
