[Affected versions]: - 65.0a1 (2018-11-20) - 64.0b11 [Affected platforms]: -Ubuntu 16.04 -Windows 10x64 -macOS 10.12 [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Open FF 2. Open a few tabs 3. Select all of the open tabs 4. Right click and choose Close tabs option 5. Confirm close tabs 6. Reopen Firefox 7. Go to hamburger menu 8. Click on Restore previous session [Expected result]: - Users should be able to restore the closed tabs when all the tabs are selected [Actual result]: - Restore previous session is not working when browser is closed with all the tabs selected Note: Issue seen when closing the browser with all tabs selected with with CTRL+F4 shortcuts also [Regression range]: -This issue is not a regression.
This doesn't sound like a bug to me. When manually closing all tabs rather than closing the window or quitting, you're basically throwing away your session.

Hi Dão, The session is restored with all tabs when browser is closed by exiting from hamburger menu or hitting the X button without selecting tabs, from my point of view it would be nice to have same behaviour when all the tabs are multi-selected too. If this is not the case maybe the "Restore Previous Session" option should not be active in the hamburger menu. Thanks,

I agree it would make sense to disable it in such cases. Please feel free to file a bug on this.

After restoring the session you can find the tabs you closed in the History -> Recently Closed Tabs list.
