User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0 Steps to reproduce: Update to Firefox 63.0.3 (or clear out your appdata/install a new version of Firefox), if you start typing in the address bar, and enter tablet mode in Windows 10 and then return to normal desktop, or you dock a laptop (and therefore change the screen resolution) Firefox version: 63.0.3 (64-bit) Windows version: Windows 10 Pro version1809 (build 17763.134) Extensions installed: Facebook Container 1.4.2, Firefox Multi-Account Containers 6.0.1, uBlock Origin 1.17.4 Actual results: After you return from tablet mode to normal desktop mode, the address bar shows the recommended results however you can not click away from this. It stays on screen even if you click on the desktop, click somewhere else in the webpage, somewhere else address bar. The only way to get rid of the recommended results from the address bar is to close Firefox and open it again. Expected results: When you click away from the address bar, the recommended results should disappear.
Hello, I wasn't been able to reproduce this issue on Windows 10 using Firefox 63.0.3 / 64.0 or Firefox Nightly 66.0a1 Could you test if the issue occurs in safe mode (without extensions), here is a link that can help you with that: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode If the issue is still occurring please try using a new profile and test it again, you can find the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager Thank you!

i have the same problem

I have this issue. Happens every time i change my 2in1 from a tablet to a laptop. I have to close firefox to be able to use it again. If you have 2 windows open it will only happen to one of them.

This happens if firefox is simply open... Doesn't matter if you are editing the address bar at the time of the tablet to laptop change.
