User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:64.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/64.0

Steps to reproduce:

Open the devtools settings page, and head to screenshot behaviour and hover over the 'Screenshot to clipboard' checkbox.

I'd also like to point out that the tooltips across 'Screenshot', 'Advanced Settings', and 'Editor Preferences' have very inconsistent language.

Actual results:

It should be 'Saves the screenshot directly to the clipboard'

Expected results:

The tooltip says 'Saves to the screenshot directly to the clipboard'
Sorry, I have messed up the 'Actual results' and 'Expected results' sections - they should read:

Actual results:

The tooltip says 'Saves to the screenshot directly to the clipboard'

It should be 'Saves the screenshot directly to the clipboard'
Thanks for filing this bug.
Here is the file where this should be fixed: https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/devtools/client/locales/en-US/toolbox.dtd#166

Francesco: do we need to create a new String for this typo?

Normally no, but in this specific case, I would change it to fix the large number of locales who opted to keep the English text
https://transvision.mozfr.org/string/?entity=devtools/client/toolbox.dtd:options.screenshot.clipboard.tooltip&repo=gecko_strings

A new ID would make sure the new translations are correct, and fix the other locales.

How do we contribute to translations? The hi-IN one is incorrect too - screenshot is translated as screenboard (in hindi), which I've never heard as a word (https://transvision.mozfr.org/string/?entity=devtools/client/toolbox.dtd:options.screenshot.clipboard.tooltip&repo=gecko_strings#hi-IN)
File a bug in the Mozilla Localizations::Hindi to report the issue, someone from the existing teams should be able to answer why a specific word was picked.

Localization is done on Pontoon, but it's better to open a bug for discussion than just suggesting a different translation.
