Details

Steps to reproduce: 1) Run Mozilla 2) Press F11 to go into full screen mode. 3) Press ALT+SPACE to make the system menu appear 4) Press ALT+N to minimize the window. Actual result: Mummy, where has my Windows Taskbar gone? Expected result: Windows Taskbar is visible, like when you click the minimize icon in the top right corner of full screen mode. I have reproduced this using a trunk nightly build, ID 2002061004, on Wn98, and the Mozilla 1.1a release (Build ID 2002061104) on Windows 2000.
I see this behaviour as well under WinXP, 2002061208.
Summary: Full screen mode, minimize using ALT+SPACE, ALT+N and there is no Windows Taskbar → Full screen mode, minimize using ALT+SPACE, ALT+N and there is no Windows Taskbar
Is this a dupe of bug 126683? or perhaps bug 127237?
No, I don't think it's a dupe, although these could be related issues. Bug 126683 is classic only, and I am seeing this bug with Modern and Pinball themes. (I havn't tested Classic, I got tired of restarting Mozilla). Also, I see no trace of "bottom most section of the visible screen is the Mozilla Status Bar", although I don't really know what it means. Bug 127237 is about what happens after a crash, which I would presume is a much harder problem. I suppose something that can fix 127237 might fix this problem as a side effect, but I still think that they are different problems.
