My search bar and autocomplete suggestions are stuck until i close or type something new into the search bar.

Steps to reproduce:
1 - Typed a query into a search bar.
2 - Closed the laptop.
3 - Reopened and logged into the laptop.
4 - The search bar and autocomplete should be stuck.
Note: This doesn't work 100% of the time, and sometimes happens randomly.
Actual results:
After a few attempts, the search bar was stuck, and i was not able to click away.
Expected results:
The search bar and would be stuck on the screen.
