Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020611 BuildID: 2002061104 If I have two browser windows open with the print dialog open from one and the find in page dialog open from the other, any buttons I press on the find dialog do not take effect until the print dialog is dismissed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open two browser windows with web pages. 2. Open Print dialog from the first window. 3. Open Find in this Page dialog from the second window. 4. Enter text into the Find text entry field, press Find. 5. Cancel the Print dialog. Actual Results: The Find action is not performed until the Print dialog is dismissed. Expected Results: The find action should occur soon after the Find button is pressed. It is not obvious that the print dialog is causing the events to be queued. Alternatively, all browser windows should be disabled while the print dialog is up, instead of just the parent window.
confirmed with 2002103104 on win2k. this is probably a dupe, but no idea where I'd look for the cause. confirming in the hope that someone else knows...
