[Affected versions]:

  • Fx 66.0b5

[Affected platforms]:

  • Windows 10

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Change Windows theme to High Contrast Black.
  2. Launch Firefox.
  3. Go to Customize and change the theme to 'Light'.
  4. Enable the menu bar.

[Expected result]:

  • The menu bar options should be visible.

[Actual result]:

  • The menu bar options are barely visible.

[Regression range]:

  • This looks like a recent regression, because the issue is not reproducible on the latest release (Firefox 65.0).
  • Will come back with a more exact regression range ASAP.

[Additional notes]:

  • This only occurs if that specific high contrast theme is enabled for windows.
  • The tab names are affected by this too (barely visible).
  • This issue does not occur with the 'regular' high contrast theme available in Windows 10.
  • The issue was not reproducible on windows 7, so it seems this is spec
