When a calendar event containing an "Organizer" property is opened, the organizer is displayed, but the e-mail address is not a hyperlink (not clickable).
Since the recipient may wish to contact the organizer for additional information, it should be.
The ORGANIZER property contains sufficient information to create a hyperlink.
If a CN parameter is present, it's the display name. The value, a 'mailto' link is the value. There is no reason for TB to display the value in <>s...
E.g. Here is an ICS file for an event cancellation. (It normally processed in an e-mail as text/calendar; method="CANCEL", but this is sufficient to illustrate the issue.)
Although this example is a "Cancellation", the same is true for an invitation (method="PUBLISH"). To turn this into a invitation, delete the "STATUS:" line, and change the METHOD from CANCEL to PUBLISH.
Also, while "noreply" is the "organizer" in this test case, ordinarily the organizer is someone other than an automaton!

Attached is a screenshot showing this event in TB. The yellow-highlighted <noreply@example.net> should be at least mailto:noreply@example.net, where clicking on the mailto should open an e-mail composition window.
Better yet, the whole line should be Southborough Public Meetings, so it would appear
Organizer: Southborough Public Meetings, and clicking would (of course) open a composition window.
Besides being more functional, this presentation would save space on the invitation.
It would also be consistent with how the Attachment lines are presented - they already are active hyperlinks.
Thanks in advance.
I meant to point you to the RFC that defines ORGANIZER, but it got lost in editing. Here it is: RFC 5545, Page 111
Thanks again.
