When opening tabs in new tabs, viewing them, and coming back to the original
page, the links appear to still have focus. Even if many links have been
clicked, they will all have the dotted-box around them.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to reproduce:
1. open a page with many links (a buglist is ideal)
2. follow some of the links, opening them in new tabs (if you open them in the
background, tab to them, and come back each time)
expected results: links don't keep the dotted box (or at least only the last
one clicked does)
actual results: each link keeps dotted box.
Screenshot coming soon.

I can reproduce this with Build ID 2002062208, WinXP. It only happens when you
use middle-click or ctrl-click to open the new tabs.
I couldn´t find a dupe, so marking NEW.

See related Bug 150098 and linux-only Bug 150322 (I see 150322 in Win 98 too,
but not to same extent).
Then there's always Bug 120148 and Bug 9809.

Bug 148684 convinced me that this bug is really a dupe of bug 9809. Thanks David
for the hint! I wasn´t aware of bug 9809.
