In continuation with Bug 1522520, in order to make homepage localizable, we need to support Fluent strings in a database project. Database projects are a type of projects where the data is only stored in our database, and not synchronized to an external version control system.
Here’s what we currently know we need to support:
- Reference a string by its ID
Open questions:
- How to make the Translate page consider the strings as Fluent?

Fluent is already supported for the database projects provided the resource format is set to "ftl"
