Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0
Steps to reproduce:
Click on 'History' in the drop-down. Middle-click on history item.
- Open browser.
- Visit a few sites in various tabs.
- Close tabs.
- Open tabs that were closed in either recently closed tabs or anywhere in the history drop-down
Actual results:
URL opens as "place:sort=4&maxResults=15"
Page error is following:
"The address wasn’t understood
Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (place) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.
You might need to install other software to open this address."
Expected results:
The requested page or tab should have opened in a new tab. The only way the 'History' menu works now is to left-click an item which defeats the purpose of middle-clicking.
Apologies, I forgot to add that the behavior in Developer 67.0b1 in the above bug repeats itself when all extensions are disabled via safe-mode (restart with extensions disabled).

Hello all.
Firefox Developer 67.0b2 seems to have solved the issue for now. Middle-click behavior is working as it should. Many thanks to the quick work of the developers and contributors!
