Details

When I right-click on a message in any of my news accounts the option 'Cancel Message' is greyed-out. However, if I open any of the sub-menus on that menu, 'Copy To' or 'Label' to be exact, then the 'Cancel Message' option turns on and is no longer greyed out. When noticing this for the first time Mozilla suddently crashed on me. The talkback incident ID for the crash is TB7646779M. I can repeat this now without crashing. It happens in both classic and modern themes, and other themes as well. Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to one of your news accounts 2. Select a random message and right-click on it 3. Notice the 'Cancel Message' option is greyed out 4. Go the the 'Copy To' or 'Label' option and let the sub-menu appear 5. Notice 'Cancel Message' is no longer greyed out Mozilla 1.1a build 2002061908 on Windows XP Professional
Can't reproduce using 20020624 on Win2k (classic theme)
confirming that this is still reproducible for me in build 2002062408, WinXP Professional
I can confirm this on Linux Build 2002062404. Platform/OS should be All/All

I confirm this bug. And cancel tool doesn't work at all ! :-/ Using trunk build 2002062608 - WinXP And moving to OS and platform to all, following comment #3

This bug should have a Target and a Priority. Confirm Problem (which started somewhere after 1.0.0) with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; de-DE; rv:1.1a+) Gecko/20020707 and several earlier versions.
