STR:
- Start two separate Nightly instances with WebRender enabled on Ubuntu 18.10 Wayland session.
- In each instance go to https://wind.willyweather.com/ny/new-york-county/new-york.html
- Make sure the windows are not maximized.
Parts of the browser chrome and content often flicker as seen in the attachment. It only happens with XWayland, not with X11 or Wayland backend.

The page content is now rock solid with no flickers, there are still some flickers in the titlebar but frequency has gone down from ~14 flickers/minute to ~5 flickers/minute.
Fix window for content flickering:

Content flickering fixed by Bug 1558106.

Does it still flicker?

Kestrel, I can't reproduce this here. Does this still reproduce for you?
I can no longer reproduce this on Ubuntu 20.10 with latest Nightly 88.0a1 (2021-03-04) or the original 2019-09-06 build so it must have been an upstream issue.
