In Fx 69 we want to disabled WebIDE by default. A deprecation notice will have been displayed in WebIDE during the 68 cycle (Bug 1538632).

For this bug we should introduce a preference that disables all the remaining entry points for WebIDE.

Blocks: 1539462

Should also handle the Connect page at the same time.

Summary: [remote-dbg-next] Disable WebIDE by default → [remote-dbg-next] Disable WebIDE and the Connect... page by default
Priority: -- → P3
No longer blocks: remote-debugging-ng-m3-plus

Can we also use the WebIDE keybinding for remote debugging now?

Since the release was postponed by 1 cycle, this should now be handled in Firefox 70 cycle.

Disable WebIDE and ConnectPage by default r=remote-debugging-reviewers,daisuke

Regarding developer documentation, this is mentioned in https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Deprecated_tools#WebIDE_and_Connect_page . But we still have a lot of pages mentioning WebIDE

Correct, this might be just changing the future to past tense and removing WebIDE references in more documents.

I double-checked and made a small update to say "was deprecated"

I did a search for WebIDE and all of the pages which still refer to it seem to have been archived. If I see any remaining references as I do the other work, I will remove them.
