See bug 1540379 for the equivalent work on Nightly. As soon as we start distributing Beta 68, we need to redirect

  • bn-BD, bn-IN to bn.
  • as, en-ZA, mai, ml, or need to be redirect to en-GB

Query to track usage on Beta: https://sql.telemetry.mozilla.org/queries/62192#159837

@sfraser
Looks like we have builds for 68.0b3, we need the redirect rules.

Has this fallen through the cracks? I don't see any change in telemetry for Beta, while I see it in DevEdition.

https://github.com/mozilla-partners/mozilla-EME-free/blob/master/desktop/mozilla-EME-free/repack.cfg also needed updating, as did mozilla-partners/repack-manifests (which I can't currently see, let alone edit)

I was aware of that from an email thread, but I assumed that was needed for release. There's no channel in that config, so it's either fix Beta or Release?

One config for both, which means we need to adjust the code that uses it to not have a fatal error if a locale is missing.
