Steps to reproduce:

example site to reproduce the issue consistently: https://www.tesla.com/model3/design#battery
change the color selection and you'll see firefox select the element as if it's text, but there's no text. it does this on other sites and selection elements too.

Actual results:

it prompts you to select text when there is no text, rather a selection or choice element on the page.

Expected results:

nothing should happen, Firefox should not present the text selection prompt.

Thank you for reporting the issue.

I managed to reproduce the issue based on STR.

Environment
Device: Sony Xperia Z5, Android(7.0.0)
Build: Firefox Nightly 68.0a1 (2019-04-23), Firefox Beta (67.0b13) and Release (66.0.2)

I will mark the issue as NEW.
