154742 - A long pause when return key in the line of quoted text.

Description

Could be related to bug 32100, 140884 , or a byproduct of bug 133741. However,
this is new to me.
Mail/News with plain text composer.
Reply a message.
Remove all the quote mark (>).
Try to type a text in the same line as the quoted text. (Here,the text entered
is displayed in blue as if it is a quoted text) Then hit return.
Result: A very long pause, and then you can resume typing, where the typed text
is displayed in black (default).
Expected result:Return key should be treated as a line feed instead of end of
quoted text.
The probelem may lie in the interpretation of quoted text attribute.
