User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/74.0.3729.108 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Run Nightly with GDK_BACKEND=wayland using Sway in Arch Linux distro.

Actual results:

GTK elements have random graphical glitchs.

Expected results:

GTK elements should draw correctly as in Firefox Stable (version 66).

In Firefox 66 (Arch Linux package) the problem doesn't show using the initial variable (GDK_BACKEND=wayland)

If I run Nightly in Xwayland (without the initial variable), the problem doesn't shows.

I remember having this problem in Nightly since approximately two weeks.

Summary: Nightly GTK elements glitch in Sway Wayland under Arch Linux → [sway] Nightly GTK elements glitch in Sway Wayland under Arch Linux

I believe this is a duplicate of bug 1548496.

Blocks: wayland-sway
No longer blocks: wayland

Seems like a duplicate or related to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1552020

I don't see this problem in Ubuntu 19.10, FF 71.0~b7+build1-0ubuntu0.19.10.1 (webrender and basic) and sway 1.2 / wlroots 0.8.1

Fixed in sway master with https://github.com/swaywm/sway/pull/6046.
