Steps to reproduce:
I think it will be more simple if write a new mail, a new tab is created, not a new window.
First, I don't understand why we need a new window if we have a tabbed program.
Second, sometimes I get confused. Since new mail are new window, I close them as window. But when I read a received mail, it's opened in a tab. But I get confused and do as for writing message, so I close the entire application.
Yes, I'm dumb... anyway, I think really that a tabbed program should use tabs as much as possible, and I don't see a reason why new messages should be opened in a new window.
