Some animated GIFs aren't rendered correctly (ot maybe tey're bugged, but
everyone-else displays it "in a way more pleasant to the eye").

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open the URL
2.watch a full cycle of the animation
3.notice that the smilie "blinks"


Actual Results:  The smilie blinks.

Expected Results:  In IE, ACDSee, WinXP "preview", and other programs it doesn't
blink, I am no GIF guru but I think it can be Mozilla's fault..?

marking as duplicate of bug 37571. reporter, if you don't agree with this then
find another of the dependencies of bug 119597 to duplicate it against

Definitely NOT bug 37571 as it references animated images on the same page of
flash plugins, and you can notice my url refwerences only the image, even if
open "alone" in the page...
Maybe is bug 22607 (but that should be already fixed) but I know too little
about GIF animation to tell.

I will search some software that lists the GIF exact content (anyone knows such
a problem? something like "image 50x50 cetnered on 20,30, click to see; wait
100ms; image 20x20 centered on 10,10 click to see; wait 10ms"..."

Should have been fixed on branch on the 28th by Bug 85595.  Reporter, can you
download a newer 1.0.x branch and confirm?

Yes it's fixed.
What a chanche I waited since 0.9.2 to report this bug (lack of will for such a
small bug =P) and now I only needed to wait two more days... ^_^""
