Details

The picture-in-picture-mode currently doesn't support navigating backward (rewind) and forward. If one has rewind due to missing something (distraction, loud noise), it requires to find the tab controlling the PiP window and rewind in that one.

Expected:

  1. Keys 'left' and 'right' rewind or forward when the PiP video has focus.
  2. Progress bar to skip uninteresting parts.

Is this related to View Source component?

Is this a duplicate of (fixed) bug 1546954 or is there something else to do here?

There is no UI to rewind/fast forward in the mini player - the bug should be kept open.

Thanks for the report. This seems to be a duplicate of bug #1579645, for a playhead scrubber.
